CHARACTER INFORMATIONName: Yesod
Canon: Ruina Series (Day 46 of Lobotomy Corporation) (yes, I have to be that hyperspecific)
Age: ~20s (at time of human incarnation's death); A.I. self is implied to be much older but I can't find How Much Older, but just know that he's been stuck in a timeloop for ?? a long time.
Height: 5'7"
Permissions: PermittedBackground: Contains Lobotomy Corporation SpoilersDETAILSPowers and/or Abilities:
-COGNITION FILTER: Just makes him appear as not a robot to people. It's an automatic Feature™. It gets disabled automatically if he goes into
Sephirah Meltdown.
-SEPHIRAH MELTDOWN: Essentially "shit's broke and you have to boss battle him to fix it". All the relevant features are listed in that link, which is mostly him glitching out cameras? (I don't know if you would want this to be able to be applied to non-robot/non-AI PCs) (I also don't know if he's going to cause a boss fight, so there's that.)
-DAMAGE TYPES: Because he comes from a Video Game... this is not necessarily native to Yesod, but rather is a consequence of items from his canon being used. The
damage types are Red, White, Black, and Pale. This is... mostly useful for Abnormalities, but these damage types can be dealt to facility employees so I would assume it would apply to other sentient entities here? Red is HP damage (physical trauma), white is sanity damage (psychological trauma - can cause people to go insane if enough is dealt), black is both HP + sanity, and pale is the weird one that does percentage-based HP damage, but game flavour text indicates it does damage directly to the soul. Higher amounts of damage are dealt by items with a higher
Risk Level.
Inventory:-Two WAW-class pistols,
Solemn Lament (the link should take you to the weapon blurb but if not, just CTRL+F it) — one deals white damage, the other deals black damage. But they're guns. So I imagine if he shot anyone, it would do Gun damage. Going insane because some guy shot you just sounds normal. (Seriously though one of these only does white damage.)
-One Information Team armband, which is just an armband that's purple with a Y on it. It does nothing special.
Favorite Food: Cold black tea (not iced) (simply "been sitting on the kitchen counter for 3 hours" cold) (I cannot stress enough that this man has Problems)
Least Favorite Food: Anything overly sweet/sugary. Cotton candy for example.
Greatest Strength: He's cold, calculating, and sees all sides of a problem. Therefore, he's easily-able to solve the problem since he's emotionally removed from it.
Greatest Weakness: As it turns out, being severely emotionally-removed from any problems can actually have consequences. Yesod is a very melancholy person because he tries so hard to avoid getting emotionally attached to Anything, due to how much loss he's experienced, and it has previously backfired severely when he went into Sephirah Meltdown. (Of course, even after that, he's still pretty cold, and still believes that getting close to anyone only sets one up for failure... he's working on it?)
Should your character experienced sleep paralysis, which of their greatest fears would The Entity manifest at their bedside? What would it look like?: Yesod has his own fears that manifest already as hallucinations of his body being covered in boils, blisters, pus, etc grotesque injuries like that — so much so that he covers every part of him with clothes other than his face. Seeing a sleep paralysis demon that's just himself, disrobed with all of those injuries, would probably fuck with him.
If your character heard The Entity calling for them from a dark alleyway, whose voice would cause them to investigate the sound? Why?: As much as he'd hate to admit it, any of the other
Sephirot calling to him would get an immediate response, though response times vary depending on his relationship with them (he would be slower to respond to Netzach and faster to respond to Malkuth, for example). Alternatively, the voice of James — an employee he cared about and had a friendship with before James died by Yesod's hand — would also get an investigation... if only because he'd be Pretty Sure that an Abnormality is on the loose impersonating his friend.
Has your character had a recent surgery? Do they suffer from heart trouble or high blood pressure? Do they have neck or back trouble? Are they sensitive to bright lights, or the corrupting aura of The Entity? Are they pregnant? Do they possess any prosthetics that cannot be properly secured onto their person?: he's literally a robot with a human brain squished up inside the chassis (he's very influenceable by corrupting entities, in fact, due to being an A.I.)
